Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our band name generator, related tools, website pages, accounts, or support features, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

The service helps musicians, bands, artists, creators, and music projects generate, remix, score, save, copy, export, and evaluate band name ideas. Features may include creative filters, seed phrases, locked or avoided words, taglines, session de-duplication, CSV export, and availability checks.

The service is a creative brainstorming tool. It does not provide legal, trademark, branding, domain-registration, music-distribution, or business advice. Any availability check, search cue, score, explanation, or recommendation is informational only and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are 13 or older but under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

User Accounts

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account information current, maintain the confidentiality of your credentials, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or are used in a way that may harm the service or other users.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Submit private information about another person without permission.
• Submit confidential, highly sensitive, or legally restricted information into the generator.
• Use generated names or outputs in a way that misleads others, impersonates another artist or business, or creates confusion with an existing brand.
• Use the service to generate, publish, or promote unlawful, hateful, harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful content.
• Upload or transmit malware, corrupted data, automated spam, scraping traffic, or other harmful code or activity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, lease, or provide the service to third parties except as expressly allowed by us.

We may remove content, block requests, suspend access, or take other action if we believe these rules have been violated.

Name Ideas, Ownership, and Clearance

You are responsible for deciding whether to use any generated name. We do not guarantee that a generated name is original, available, protectable, non-infringing, culturally appropriate, free from prior use, eligible for trademark registration, available as a domain, or available on music, social, streaming, or marketplace platforms.

Before releasing music, selling merchandise, registering a business, buying a domain, creating social profiles, or filing a trademark based on a generated name, you should perform your own clearance searches and consider consulting a qualified legal professional.

As between you and us, you may use generated name ideas for your own personal or commercial music projects, subject to these Terms and any rights held by third parties. We retain ownership of the service, website, software, design, data structures, templates, scoring logic, and other original materials that make the service work.

Your Inputs and Content

You keep any rights you have in the prompts, words, phrases, themes, notes, and other content you submit to the service. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, modify, transmit, display, and use that content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate these Terms or the rights of others.

Third-Party Services and Links

The service may link to third-party websites, search engines, social platforms, streaming platforms, domain registrars, payment processors, analytics services, or other resources. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices, availability, or actions.

Payment and Billing

If paid features, credits, subscriptions, or other purchases are offered, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize applicable charges. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Prices, feature limits, and billing periods may change with notice where required by law.

Unless a separate written refund policy says otherwise, refunds are handled case by case and may be denied where service access, credits, downloads, or digital features have already been provided.

Intellectual Property

The service, including its software, interface, design, text, graphics, workflows, databases, scoring systems, and other original materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the service except as allowed by these Terms.

Feedback, suggestions, or ideas you send us may be used without restriction or compensation to you.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse the service, or if we discontinue the service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and payment obligations, will survive.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not warrant that generated names, taglines, scores, availability checks, exports, or recommendations will meet your needs, be error-free, or be suitable for release, commercial use, trademark registration, domain registration, or public branding.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, release delays, rebranding costs, trademark disputes, platform takedowns, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if you did not pay us.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your generated-name selections, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
